its Spring! And the weather on the Gold Coast is magnificent – warm with no humidity. Perfect!
I have done some shopping for the new blanket….
Bee-you-tee-full! Love the colours. All Bendigo 8ply bought from Tangled Yarns in Brisbane and I can’t wait to crochet with them!
And while I wait not-so-patiently for the next instalment on the LittleWoolie blanket, I am trying to finish my other blanket project.
I have a few spring buds in the garden….these geraniums are hardy-as and have survived my neglect for nearly two years!
The blankets we use every night while watching tv have been folded and are ready to be packed away until next autumn (I hope)…
Spring also means magpie season!! They dive-bomb Spuddy everytime he walks outside the door. We have gone backwards BIG time on the toilet training and who could blame him…
These photos may look like Spud is chasing the magpie but actually the magpie comes sweeping down and makes a clicking noise just above Spuds head. Today I have picked up two poos inside- he can’t really be expected to do his business while being dive-bombed!
I am so angry with those magpies what can be done????? Maybe a scarecrow? I go weak at the knees with your purchases cant wait to them in action, the colours are absolutely divine mmmmmmmm
oh dear poor spud 😦 loving the colours of that new blanket planned 🙂
Love the colours of the wool you purchased.
Poor Spuddy 😦 but I love the magpies in my garden:) Your yarn looks divine, love the colors!
Your new yarn colours are divine!! And I feel for your poor puppy, I remember getting dive bombed by Magpies as a kid – it was scary!
The colours of your new wool are are lovely – I am glad to see the knitting needles are back in use. Not much longer and that will be another project out of the way and something to be really proud of. So sorry for Spuddy (and you too!!!)
