The latest blanket is complete….
Pattern:-Every square different and each one taken from the book 200 Blocks by Jan Eaton. Joined together on a wish-and-a-prayer and edged using Attic24 edging.
Yarn:- the cheap stuff from Spotlight (surprisingly soft and nice feeling)
Duration:- started Sept 2010, finished finally June 2011.
Enjoyment Factor:-This project was very enjoyable as each square required learning something new and thinking and following new insructions. It was a good learning curve for me who is used to just doing grannies.
And this was a planning picture…
And the weather has turned just in time for everyone to cuddle under this new blanket…
Oh, how delicious!! I love your blanket, and all the different squares. What a satisfying project, and such a special piece that will be loved by all for years to come. Well done xo

I am doing the same thing with the same book! I’m using an antique white/tan, burgundy, and black for mine. I’ve been working on it since I got the book for Christmas 2010. Seeing this has given me a new vigor for it. Your afghan turned out beautifully!
